
Chris Dean

A Bay Area native, Chris was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 11th round of the 1992 MLB draft. The switch-hitting middle infielder then went on to a seven year pro career.
Prior to pro baseball, Chris twice earned California High School All-State honors, and was selected to the 1992 Mizuno All-American High School team alongside the likes of Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter. At Seminole College, Chris batted .393 with 23 homers and 117 RBIs, and was named the NJCAA Player Of The Year in 1994.
Chris has been a travel baseball and hitting/skills instructor in the South Bay and Tri-Valley area since 2001. His coaching resume includes the Alameda Merchants collegiate team, Headfirst Baseball in the East Bay, and Swagger Athletics Baseball Club in Palo Alto.
